MyVideo is South Africa’s first online video platform. Launched in January 2007, it is the first online enabler for the South African market to watch, share, and create videos.

MyVideo is based on the idea that it is time for South Africans to have an easy way to share videos with each other and the rest of the world. All content on MyVideo strives to be South African. We regard this as a key differentiator and unique aspect of the global video sharing phenomenon.

Who runs MyVideo?

MyVideo is owned and operated by My Video Sharing CC and is based in Cape Town, South Africa. Rowan Polovin and Tristan Owen are the founders and first members of the MyVideo management team and currently operate as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Marketing Officer respectively.
