2010 Updates from MyVideo

Howzit! Tristan here from MyVideo, I’m the co-founder and current director at MyVideo.

Things have been quiet around MyVideo for the past few months. We’ve quietly observed and monitored the activity on the site and we’ve seen all sorts of fantastic video content uploaded from our partners and dedicated users. Recent changes behind the scenes now sees a renewed focus on MyVideo and in particular, its exciting future.

The idea of MyVideo has always been to create a local platform, a way of organising and aggregating local video content. In the coming weeks, we will be introducing and improving the functionality, design and features of the current MyVideo platform to better reflect our goals and the South African relevancy of MyVideo. We recently underwent scheduled maintenance in preparation for the new changes and we’re excited to reveal our plans to our partners and users in the coming weeks.

Our challenge is to make it easy for our users to find, watch, discover and share interesting and entertaining South African video content.
