At the end of September 2012, the ‘Kapamba Pride’ killed an impala right infront of Tent 2 at Zungulila Bushcamp, interrupting the guests’ breakfast. The hungry lions – two females and five cubs (regular visitors to the plain infront of camp this season) – were so engrossed in their meal, that it took them a while to realise that they had an uninvited table guest…. the huge crocodile that lives in the stream infront of camp had smelt it’s opportunity and decided to try it’s luck at grabbing a piece of the action.
